Tuesday 17th

Mmmm – night time report in from Mum and its thunder and lightening in Cyprus. :o(

Just as well I bought a khagool in Scotland in June. Shame I can’t fit any spotty wellies in my wee case though.

I’ll have to wait til next summer vacation at home before I can use them. Dash it.

So Mum and Christine are settled in the hotel fine so that’s a relief. I was worried my 60th birthday present would be a disaster because of her travel sickness.

Only I could organise a holiday abroad for my mum’s 60th birthday when she has an inner ear imbalance and gets chronic travel sickness…..

I am such a kind and thoughtful daughter.

Wednesday 18th

Oh my poor mum!!! I got a text message from sunny Cyprus today from my mum. The rain stopped and the sun was out but she was definitely not so sunny.

She had walked into a glass door and split her nose! It was very sore, very bruised and very swollen. Not a good start to her holidays. She has now been confined to her room until I get there on Friday. Bless.

Thursday 19th

End of another long week. Phew.

Out with the Vampire at night and met up with Josh and Nick in DDs. Tried very hard to be on my best behaviour and think I actually managed for once.

Still sozzled by the end of night but hopefully will manage to get up at silly-o’clock for my flight to sunny Cyprus. Woo hoo!
